Safety testing of lab test & measurement equipment
Safety testing of laboratory equipment including multimeters, power meters, camera control systems, and any other electrical measurement and test equipment, able to measure, indicate or record one or more electrical or non-electrical quantities.
The test standard for these type of devices is IEC/EN 61010-1. For equipment which falls under In Vitro Diagnostics Directive (IVD), EN/IEC 61010-2-101 and/or EN/IEC 61010-2-081 may be applicable, in addition to EN/IEC 61010-1.
