With our experience we have learnt that a number of key questions are frequently raised by our customers and we have detailed these below with our answers:
What information do I need to provide to TRaC to carry out my testing?
TRaC will be pleased to provide indicative or full quotes for any aspect of your test requirements. In order to get a quotation, we require details of your unit under test (UUT) specifically dimensions, mass, power input requirements, connecting cables and number of operating modes.
TRaC will also need to know details of the test specifications you need to work to. If you don't know, we can point you in the direction of standards which may be appropriate for your requirement.
How can I request a quote?
You can use our contact form or simply e-mail your requirements to test@trac-trl.com including product details above, and any details about the industry of application and the place of application.
How long does it take to get a quotation?
TRaC endeavor to provide quotations within 1 to 2 working days, but please advise us if you need a faster response.
When can the testing be started?
TRaC have dedicated planners who will review the resources required to complete the quoted test and advise the sales team, or customer directly, of availability. We aim to meet the date requirement that our customers request.
How long will the testing take?
TRaC will advise the time scales of the testing required as part of the quoting process. It will very much depend on the type of testing requested and the specification it is requested to be tested to and TRaC's experienced technical sales team will happily discuss this.
How can I follow the testing process?
Once an order has been received, TRaC assign an engineer to each project who will then be the point of contact for all queries related to the testing process. For larger multi-disciplined projects where a wider TRaC group test services are being delivered as a turnkey qualification project, a dedicated project manager will be nominated. TRaC's customers are always welcome at our sites to review our facilities or witness their testing and we have a dedicated Customer lounges for the comfort of our visitors.
