New automotive EMC test equipment

TRaC has purchased new automotive transient test equipment. TRaC customers can now benefit from testing automotive Electronic Sub-Assemblies (ESAs), with a continuous high current rating to the latest automotive transient specification ISO7637-2:2004, complementing the existing equipment.

Physical Agents Directive - Outdoor noise

According the DIRECTIVE 2000/14/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 8 May 2000 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors (outdoor noise) there is a requirement that the noise levels are determined and the necessary precautions (ear defenders, operating restrictions, etc) are put into place.

Our accreditations and approvals

TRaC's extensive and varied testing services are accredited by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17025:2005. TRaC's UKAS accreditation is complemented by the approval to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / BS EN ISO 17025:2005 by an independent third party certification body. To enable us to provide our clients with a complete service our accredited test laboratories are complimented by a range of Notified Body and Certification Body accreditations. In addition to the above, TRaC have been recognised by a number of industries and organisations.

Shock announcement; TRaC extends environmental test services

New investment adds Drop-test Shock Machine to extensive product test facilities. TRaC has further extended its environmental test capabilities with the installation of a Lansmont 95 shock test machine.
