Project management - global market access

To complement our wide range of test services, the TRaC team of Approval experts are on hand to advise you on all aspects of product compliance for telecommunications and radio equipment, whatever your product market.

The Approvals Management Service provides the following services to our clients:

  • Complete and effective evaluation of client equipment to ensure all requirements are understood and designed into the compliance strategy.

  • Provision of detailed project plan or timeline and key milestones.

  • Preparation of the application pack in exact accordance with national certification body procedure based upon past experience and published requirements.

  • Provision of information to clients about sample requirements.

  • Completion of application forms and all application paperwork on behalf of the client.

  • Translation of User Manual, application pack and other product documentation, as necessary.

  • Liaison with local offices/distributors, where necessary, in countries where a local presence is required for approval purposes.

  • Submission of the approval application to the relevant approval authority.

  • Liaison and negotiation with the Approval Authority to obtain the earliest completion date.

  • Management of testing performed at TRaC.

  • Negotiation to avoid factory visits, or where necessary, arranging and supporting factory inspection visits.

  • Pre-test support and management to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

  • Regulatory test support and management at the designated in-country laboratory if required.

  • Packaging and shipping of application pack and client equipment.

  • Payment of all in-country fees that are necessary for type approval, including third party test lab fees.

  • Regular and timely status reports, as agreed by client at project commencement.
