Fujitsu joins the TRaC Partner Laboratory Programme to Enhance Support for Companies Seeking European Certification
TRaC, the largest UK-based provider of testing, validation and certification, announces that Fujitsu General EMC Laboratory Limited has joined the TRaC Partner Laboratory Programme, enhancing services offered to manufacturers wishing to certify products for sale in the UK and Europe. This programme enables Fujitsu to provide CE certification to Japanese manufacturers with the support of TRaC's expertise.
New automotive EMC test equipment
TRaC has purchased new automotive transient test equipment. TRaC customers can now benefit from testing automotive Electronic Sub-Assemblies (ESAs), with a continuous high current rating to the latest automotive transient specification ISO7637-2:2004, complementing the existing equipment.

Our test facilities are operated from various locations across the UK and each provide core and specialist services. Our test laboratories are accredited by UKAS against ISO17025 and are also approved by various national bodies throughout the world (see global approvals). Our test services include:

EMC support services
In addition to the comprehensive test facilities and services that we offer, consultancy forms a vital and increasingly important aspect. Our consultancy services are typically based around product evolution meaning that we get involved in all areas of the product design. This includes
- Identification of the appropriate requirements (contractual and legislative)
- Preparation of control and test plans including test suites where no relevant standard exists
- Identification of key risks of EMC design and minimization of this through limited testing through the design process
- Preparation of technical documentation for end customers and/or regulatory bodies
- Notified Body services for CE marking directives (EMC, R&TTE)
