EMC for Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) equipment
The International standard covering ISM equipment is CISPR 11. This standard covers many types of equipment and is probably the second most common standard to CISPR 22.
Types of products covered by CISPR11 include all those equipments which intentionally generate and/or use RF energy for the treatment or erosion of materials (microwave ovens, RF heating, MRI scanners, arc welding equipment). The scope of the standard also covers things such as variable speed drives, stand alone power supplies etc.
