EMC for defence standards

Stringent procurement requirements can cause difficulties for contractors and manufacturers resulting in on-going testing and the possibility of delay in meeting deadlines often incurring extra costs.

TRaC has the ability to test equipment over a wide range of emissions and immunity requirements to commercial, industrial and military standards. We can easily identify which range of tests exists that must be passed by your equipment if it is to fulfill the requirements placed upon it.

We test to the following standards in addition to manufacturer specific standards which are based on the same (i.e. Boeing, Eurocae, Airbus etc):

We are recognised by the UK's MOD as a key provider of military EMC services and consequently have an enabling contract to facilitate all MOD departments to engage our services directly. Based on our knowledge and expertise with the commercial arenas we are able to provide test packages which cover both the military and commercial requirements (CE/e marking) within a single test program. This has significant benefits since costs are saved and approval for all requirements is obtained in a shorter period of time allowing faster market access or deployment.

We perform Urgent Operational Requirement (UOR) testing when a product or platform is required to be procured in a very short period of time.
