DSLAM Partnership Program

TRaC is an independent ISO 17025 accredited test laboratory offering a range of technical services principally in the field of test and verification of IT & Telecoms products. A particular specialised service is the conformance and interoperability testing of multi-vendor xDSL products.

TRaC is recognised as an Independent Test Laboratory (ITL) under the Broadband Forum (formerly DSL Forum) scheme to provide multiple independent test facilities for xDSL Interoperability and are active in the Forum's standardisation work to support multi-vendor interoperability. TRaC's Laboratories are also used to obtain reference results to align chipset and CPE laboratories.

  • Forum scheme using the Vendor's DSLAM, including firmware and hardware revisions.
  • Prioritised test scheduling for DSLAM Vendor (or Vendor’s CPE partner) that involves the Vendor's DSLAM.
  • Availability of TRaC test facility for urgent test requirement or when Vendor lab is unavailable (overflow lab).
  • Reduction on future test fees
