ZigBee Certification Testing

ZigBee Home Automation (HA) is a public profile defined by the ZigBee Alliance to allow certification of products intended for use within a Home Automation network.

TRaC is able to offer a complete ZigBee Home Automation (HA) testing service leading to certification and the use of the ZigBee HA logo on the product.

TRaC was involved in the certification of the Golden (reference) units that have been listed by the ZigBee Alliance for Home Automation. During the certification testing of your product, these Golden units are used to form small networks in order to confirm interoperability with other certified devices. The formal product certification process uses both Golden units and TRaC's validated ZigBee Test Harness to test your product.

Regulatory Test Requirements:

In addition to the ZigBee Certification testing services, TRaC is able to offer a complete regulatory service covering all major markets around the world.

The specific Radio, EMC and Safety regulatory standards which apply to your product will depend on the product functionality and the intended market. Note: Due to the nature of typical home automation products, identifying the correct safety standard to assess to for regulatory purposes can be quite a complex process. This is due to the fact that the addition of the radio/wireless capabilities into the product means that it could fall within the scope of more than one safety standard.
