Telecoms Certification
ACTA TCB
As a TCB TRaC has the ability to provide the certification process for Part68 registration via ACTA (www.part68.org) required in order to place your Telecoms product on to the US market.
In order to use the TCB you need to submit a documentation pack including:
- Registration Forms
- User manual
- PCB layouts , Schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Test reports etc…
The TCB reviews the submitted evidence and when satisfied that your product meets with the requirements of ACTA and then uploads the certificate for the Part68 website and issues the certification for the final grant of approval.
Japan CAB
Obtaining Japanese Telecoms Approval
In Japan Telecommunication products have to meet with the requirements of the Telecommunications Law to the specific Ordinance by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC). The technical requirements are documented in the "Ordinance concerning Technical Regulations Conformity Certification etc. of Specified Telecoms Equipment". Once a product has been assessed and found to meet with the requirements then the test results as well as other information pertaining to the Telecommunication equipment is submitted to the Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for review. The CAB reviews the documentation and when satisfied that the product meets with the requirements of the associated ordinances an 'ordinance' number is issued by the CAB. This number must be affixed to the product in conjunction with the specified 'ordinance' mark before it can be placed on to the market in Japan. This 'Ordinance' number is then registered with the Japanese MIC.
