Bounce testing
Many product failures can occur during transit. Whereas conventional shock and vibration tests can replicate stresses induced during transportation of a secured cargo, bounce testing in contrast simulates an environment of loose cargo in wheeled vehicle transit.
TRaC use an asynchronous bounce machine, with a cargo capacity of 0.7m x 0.7m x 0.7m to undertake bounce testing accredited to DEF STAN 00-35, BS EN 60068, IEC 68-2-55 and DEF STAN 07-55. Non-accredited, synchronous testing, is also available at TRaC to DEF STAN 00-35 and MIL STD 810 standards.
