Bluetooth® Regulatory Testing
In addition to Bluetooth Qualification testing, it is very important to ensure that any Bluetooth product satisfies the regulatory requirements of the country or community in which it is to be marketed.
TRaC provides a comprehensive service for
- Radio performance testing to EN 300 328 and FCC 15.247
- EMC testing to EN 301 489-17
- Safety testing to IEC/EN 60950
- Environmental and Climatic Testing
- Worldwide Approvals in over 140 countries
In addition to the above regulatory services TRaC is also
- A National Certification Body (NCB) under the IECEE (CB) scheme
- A Telecommunications Certification Body (US)
- A Japanese Conformity Assessment Body (CAB)
- A Notified Body (EC) for LVD, R&TTE, ATEX and e-marking
- A principal access route to the Nationally Recognised Test Laboratories (NRTL's) for North America
Bluetooth technology is increasingly incorporated into many different types of host product, such as a medical or a measurement device, so it is very important that the regulatory requirement of the host product is also considered.
TRaC provides a testing service which covers all of the regulatory requirements applicable to the complete product. For example, a measurement device such as an electricity meter will also have to be assessed under EN 61010 for safety, and TRaC can offer a single site solution for such circumstances.
