TRaC telecoms test reports accepted in Brazil

Telecoms test reports in Brazil Telecommunication equipment is subject to Anatel (Agencia Nacional de Telecommunicacoes) certification in Brazil.

Brazilian regulations state that test services which these laboratories offer is limited, and for technologies which they are unable to support test results against the relevant ETSI or Brazilian specifications from an unaccredited third party laboratory outside of Brazil are accepted. These laboratories must be ILAC accredited and additionally undergo an evaluation by a Brazilian certification assessment body.

Telecoms test reports issued by TRaC have recently been accepted to support Brazilian type approval applications for VDSL2 and basic rate ISDN products, as the laboratories in Brazil are currently unable to provide this support.
