TRaC appointed as a ZigBee Alliance Recognised Test House

TRaC has been granted Recognised Test House status by the ZigBee Alliance from the 1st October 2008.

TRaC has been an active member within the ZigBee Alliance for the last two years and has assisted in the development of various key standards and test specifications.

The appointment of TRaC provides the ZigBee Alliance membership with a new European location for customers to test their ZigBee products for certification and interoperability purposes.

Customers can benefit further by making use of the full range of regulatory test services offered by TRaC. These services cover, among other disciplines, Radio, EMC and Safety.

TRaC's status as a Notified Body for Europe, a Telecoms Certification Body (TCB) for the US and a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for Japan, provides manufacturers with a quick and efficient route to market for ZigBee products.

"ZigBee enabled applications are gaining market share at an incredible pace in the industry. TRaC is please to offer ZigBee certification out of our European test laboratories to provide an efficient and cost effective solution to manufacturers of ZigBee products" says Paul Russell Managing Directory of TRaC.  "We are convinced that our customers will greatly benefit from our single-site-solution offering all the required elements to meet both the ZigBee Alliance and the regulatory requirements for placing a product on the market"
