Since the rise of the internet, with its IP based technology, a large number of voice based communications have moved across to VoIP.

VoIP handsets require a VoIP Gateway in order to interface with the network. From a certification point of view, the handset (or peripheral) has to satisfy regulatory requirements, whereas the gateway is part of the network and so is often subject to conformance requirements.

Regulatory Testing

Conformance Testing
