Bluetooth services
Bluetooth devices make use of short range radio, thus meaning that they fall within the scope of Radio regulation worldwide. As usual EMC and Safety regulatory requirements should also be satisfied before a product can be put on any given market.
In addition to the regulatory requirements, the Bluetooth SIG have established a Bluetooth Qualification program to check the interoperability of devices. These certification requirements must be satisfied before a product can use the Bluetooth name and logo.
Regulatory Testing
As an example, the table below lists the necessary regulatory requirements to gain market access to Europe and the US for Bluetooth products.

Bluetooth Qualification
